Our mission is to provide the residents of Örebro with good municipal technical services. Environmental considerations, sound economics, and quality are the cornerstones of our operations. We are looking for someone who wants to influence the city's spaces with beautiful parks.
About the position
We are seeking an experienced team leader in park maintenance for the construction and operations department. We offer a varied role where the focus will primarily be on planning and administrative work. You will have two team leader colleagues, each with their own team of park workers, where you will provide support and complement the teams in the operational aspects of the team leader role as needed.

About the workplace
Within the Park and Street Operations, approximately 150 employees work across three units focusing on the operation, maintenance, and development of streets, traffic, squares, parks, and parking. We are a development-intensive organization actively working to enhance customer dialogue and meet the needs and wishes of the citizens.
The construction and operations department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of parks, trees, playgrounds, bridges, industrial tracks, pedestrian and bicycle paths, road constructions, snow removal, ice prevention, asphalt restoration, asphalt maintenance, and new street construction. The department is also responsible for ongoing planning and development within the operational area.

Qualifications
You are self-driven and can structure your work efficiently. You can collaborate with others but also have the ability to work independently. You need to have a very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

Requirements:
• Gardening education KY/YH, vocational training in parks/gardening, or Nature Management Program/Gardening at high school/university level
• B driver's license
• Good computer skills
• Experience in team leadership
• Experience in park maintenance
Meritorious:

• Good plant knowledge
