Team Leader for Insulation
based in Klippan
Do you want to take the next step in your career as a leader in technical insulation and help develop a department that works on cutting-edge projects? As a Team Leader for Insulation at Meccom, you will take on a strategic role where you are responsible for the entire process—from project planning to execution of projects involving pipe and ventilation insulation, sound insulation, as well as insulation of tanks and boilers. You will work closely with both customers and your team members to ensure that our solutions meet high technical standards and are delivered on time and within budget. With a focus on leading projects and identifying opportunities for upselling, you will be a key person in Meccom's continued growth.
We are looking for someone who has experience in project management and is accustomed to leading teams in technical environments. Your role will be critical in ensuring a high level of quality and safety in each project, and with your knowledge of technical insulation and/or sheet metal processing, you will contribute to driving our business forward.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Responsible for technical insulation of piping systems, tanks, exhaust ducts, and boilers
• Lead and plan insulation projects, including sound insulation, sheet metal cladding, and mattress insulation
• Customer contact from pre-sales to project completion, as well as responsible for driving upselling and developing new customer relationships
• Project management with responsibility for technical and economic decisions, including cost estimation, quoting, and contract negotiations
• Leadership and personnel responsibility, including recruitment, skills development, and resource planning for the department
• Ensure that projects are carried out within budget and timelines, while also being accountable for regular financial follow-up and reporting to company management
Competence Requirements
• Good knowledge of insulation for piping systems, tanks, and ventilation ducts, as well as sheet metal cladding and mattress insulation
• Experience in project management within technical insulation
• Experience in leading and developing teams as well as managing complex customer relationships
• Commercial acumen and a drive to further develop the business
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, as well as good skills in reading technical drawings
• Computer skills and experience with financial tracking systems
