About this role
The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now seeking more employees. Our primary goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the cycle of crime. If we succeed, society will be safer and more secure for everyone. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation, detention centers, and client transportation.
The Luleå operational area is the northernmost part of the Swedish Prison and Probation Service and includes the prisons in Luleå and Haparanda, as well as the detention center in Luleå. The largest professional group is prison officers, but we also employ healthcare professionals, administrative staff, educators, production leaders, and more. In the prisons, inmates are engaged in education, various treatment programs, or the prison's wood production. The Luleå prison and detention center are easily accessible by public transport, and if you drive, you can park in our staff parking area. The Haparanda prison is a five-minute walk from Haparanda station.

JOB DESCRIPTION
