Job Manager – The Role that Drives Business, Projects, and People Forward
We are looking for an experienced and confident Job Manager who wants to lead an operation that both acquires and executes contracts for external and internal clients. You possess deep expertise in construction production, a strong business drive, and the ability to develop both projects and people.
About the Role
As a Job Manager, you are responsible for creating a stable and efficient project portfolio. You ensure the right staffing, lead the organization towards set goals, and build long-term relationships with clients and partners. The role requires strong leadership, clear structure, and the ability to balance quality, profitability, and work environment in every project.
Your Main Responsibilities
• Acquire projects according to established goals
• Staff projects with the right skills and organization
• Drive business towards clients and develop strong customer relationships
• Ensure that projects are executed according to contracts and with planned profit margins
• Lead and develop subordinate staff while creating a pleasant and professional work environment
• Ensure clear responsibilities within the organization
• Set a good example regarding safety and work environment
• Introduce, develop, and retain employees
• Ensure that work is conducted according to operational systems, policies, and guidelines
• Follow the communication plan and manage external statements correctly
Authorities
• Submit bids according to applicable regulations
• Lead and allocate work for subordinate staff and subcontractors
• Conduct purchases according to purchasing policy
• Drive personnel processes according to the operational system
• Recruit staff in consultation with HR and the CEO
• Temporarily halt production in case of serious work environment or quality deficiencies
Your Profile
• Engineering degree or equivalent relevant education
• Extensive experience as Site Manager Level 2 or Project Manager
• Good knowledge of work environment and relevant environmental training
• Very good knowledge in leadership, cost control, regulatory requirements, construction technology, and production
• Experience working as BAS-P or BAS-U is an advantage
• A valid driver's license (B) is required
• You are structured, loyal to decisions and guidelines, and have the ability to drive large, complex projects with both a results focus and consideration for the team.
