We at Återbruket are now looking for someone with experience in labor market issues and working with people in vulnerable life situations for the position of Labor Market Coach. We warmly welcome your application!
Within the Education and Job Center, we provide labor market initiatives for job seekers and recipients of social welfare support. The overarching goal is that everything we do should lead to more residents of Uppsala being able to support themselves in the long term. Återbruket is a practical operation where we offer places for work-preparation initiatives through practical job training, internships, and special labor market employment.
At Återbruket, individuals receiving social welfare support have the opportunity to develop their work abilities. Labor Market Coaches are available to support these individuals by guiding them in various tasks within our store, warehouse, and with facility hosts.
Job Description
The role includes supporting individuals on their path towards self-sufficiency, being responsible for planning, adapting, and implementing tasks and other activities that lead to established sub-goals. You will work closely with other Labor Market Coaches and the rest of the staff in the unit, as well as participate in tri-party meetings. The position offers a varied daily routine where you have the opportunity to help others approach the labor market through various labor market initiatives.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a high school diploma. To succeed in this role, you need to have experience working with labor market issues and with individuals in vulnerable life situations. The job requires good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
We prefer that you have training in Motivational Interviewing (MI) and coaching education. Experience working with the Lifecare system is viewed as an advantage.
As a person, you are empathetic and can quickly understand someone else's perspective or situation. You take initiative and start activities to achieve results. Furthermore, you are flexible and can easily adapt to changing circumstances. The job suits those who are pedagogical and understand the diverse conditions that people have for absorbing knowledge.
