Together, we create a better everyday life for our residents, businesses, organizations, and visitors, now and in the future. Leadership is important to us; therefore, all managers are trained in developmental leadership. We offer you a secure employment where you can make a meaningful contribution to society. Here, you will also find many career opportunities in an organization that is constantly evolving. We firmly stand by our core values - Better Together, characterized by courage, trust, participation, and professionalism. Within the social care administration, around 1,200 committed employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work encompasses elderly care, home care, disability services, social psychiatry, and individual and family care. The Health and Medical Care Unit consists of nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and health care assistants. We work with patients aged 18 and above who require health and medical care at the primary care level in their homes, both in special and ordinary housing. **JOB DESCRIPTION** Are you a nurse who enjoys a flexible working approach where you can utilize your problem-solving skills? Then you might be the one we are looking for! We are currently seeking a nurse for day and evening shifts in Ordinary Housing in Ystad. The position is linked to a fixed schedule, providing you with a recurring and secure work timetable. Please note that the position does not have a fixed workplace. Therefore, you will work in different units within the organization based on needs. We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role, works independently, and appreciates variation and flexibility in daily tasks. In your role, you will: • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate health and medical care interventions. • Perform medical assessments and make decisions based on the patient's current needs. • Prescribe and follow up on care measures in close collaboration with nursing staff. • Delegate and guide staff in nursing tasks and support nursing students during their internships. • Coordinate and collaborate with other professionals, relatives, and caregivers to create safe and cohesive care. • Document and follow up on interventions according to current procedures and guidelines. For us, contact with patients and relatives is a central part of the work. You see the whole person and meet each individual with commitment, respect, and care. **QUALIFICATIONS** To thrive in this role, you need to be an independent, confident, and responsible person who enjoys making decisions and seeing the bigger picture in care interventions. You are meticulous, flexible, and have the ability to quickly adapt to different situations. You are a licensed nurse and hold a B driver's license. Experience in home health care, elderly care, and municipal health and medical care is advantageous, as is specialist training as a district nurse or specialist nurse in elderly care. The most important thing is your commitment and willingness to provide good and safe care. You need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as experience in documenting in journal systems and working digitally. Working hours are weekdays, where you will work both day/evening shifts with duty every fifth weekend. During weekend work, you will cover the entire municipality and meet patients in both ordinary and special housing, as well as LSS and social psychiatry, making the work both varied and developmental. To facilitate the recruitment process, we would appreciate it if you attach your license from the National Board of Health and Welfare. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, engagement, and collaboration skills, as it is the person behind the job title who makes the difference. We apply continuous selection and interviews, so do not hesitate to submit your application. **OTHER** Employees are sought on the condition that the position is not required by already employed staff or individuals with preferential rights. Before a potential employment, we will verify citizenship. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to present a valid residence/work permit or prove that you are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. All employees should be offered conditions for good health; therefore, we actively work on our work environment. We offer wellness benefits and a smoke-free work time. In connection with this recruitment, we kindly ask for no contact from recruitment companies or other advertisers. Please note that we only accept applications via Visma Recruit and thus not via email or other contact methods. If you have questions about the position, please contact the designated contact person.
