Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan (SV) is one of Sweden's largest educational associations with activities in all of Sweden's municipalities, offering creative meeting places that provide opportunities for knowledge, education, and civic engagement through study circles and cultural events.
We are seeking an employee who can drive and develop our operations in Västervik Municipality with their competence, interest, and commitment.
We are flexible with employment level but aim for 80-100% full-time position, ongoing with a 6-month probationary period.
This is an outward-facing role where a significant part of the work involves managing contacts with partner organizations, as well as creating new connections with leaders, organizations, and associations. This may include supporting association development, starting study circles, and organizing cultural events.
You are driven to work independently but also collaborate in a group. You enjoy working in digital work environments.
Experience working with associations and public course activities is meritorious.
The position involves leading others by recruiting and introducing study circle leaders.
The role of Business Developer means you are a trend spotter for tomorrow's study circles and courses, for which you will then find participants. You appreciate innovation and prioritize the quality of popular education.

The position involves working some evenings and weekends. A minimum of B driver's license and car access is required.

Who are you?
To succeed and enjoy the Business Developer role, you are flexible and can switch between strategic and operational tasks.
You must independently manage your work, plan according to our operational plan and where needs exist. To perform well, you need to be good at creating relationships with associations, circle leaders, and participants.
As a person, you are passionate about popular education and enjoy development and improvements together with others. You have well-developed collaboration skills and high understanding of interpersonal communication. You are comfortable using available IT tools for data management in our processes. Additionally, we expect excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. You must have at least a B driver's license and car access as travel is required.
You will be based at SV's office in Västervik, where you will have an office and responsibility for course locations. You will also travel around to meet our study circles and associations throughout Västervik Municipality. We offer a permanent position of 80-100%, goal-oriented working hours, and start date by agreement. We apply a 6-month probationary period.
