**Area of Operation: Pharmaceuticals and Pharmacy** We are Akademiska sjukhuset – one of Sweden's leading university hospitals. As a regional hospital and provider of highly specialized care, we offer services to two million people in Central Sweden. There is always something happening here – a new life is born, a grandmother undergoes surgery, a colleague is celebrated as a hero. With us, you will experience both challenging trials and fantastic events, in a strong community with colleagues. See parts of our reality in our photo exhibition; akademiskafotoutstallning.se. We welcome your application! **Our Operations** Since 2019, Akademiska sjukhuset has been managing parts of the hospital pharmacy function in-house under the name Pharmaceuticals and Pharmacy. Our team consists of around 100 employees working on various pharmaceutical assignments within departmental pharmacy, clinical pharmacy, medication preparation, and medication supply. Within the medication supply department, about 15 employees are responsible for the medication supply to Akademiska sjukhuset and Lasarettet in Enköping. Our mission is to work with medication procurement, the supply agreement for medications, assortment work, and investigations when medications are out of stock. The medication supply team also provides medication services to departments and is responsible for the central stock of infusion fluids and flushing solutions for the hospitals, as well as fluid cart services. The SELK project (Safe and Efficient Medication Chain) is developing new supply solutions for healthcare units, where the implementation of medication dispensers in healthcare units has been the first step, and the introduction of inpatient medication dosing along with an expanded central stock of medications are upcoming steps. The medication supply team is responsible for the operation of these new supply solutions. **Your Mission** You will work with medication procurement and follow-up on agreements through contact with suppliers. The role involves independently processing and analyzing medication statistics and information about medications in use within inpatient care. In addition to collaborating with colleagues in medication supply, you will work with colleagues in other regions who have the same mission, as well as with colleagues in the region's purchasing and procurement unit. The position also includes working with the operational assignments of the medication supply. **Your Qualifications** We are looking for a licensed pharmacist. Experience in medication procurement, assortment work for healthcare, or work as a pharmacist in a hospital pharmacy or care department is advantageous. Strong knowledge of Excel is a requirement. You must be able to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish. **Your Competence** You work well with others and are attentive. You take responsibility for your tasks and drive your processes forward in a structured manner. You handle complex issues and have the ability to analyze and solve complicated problems. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability. **We Offer** A one-year temporary position (100%) starting in January 2026 or by agreement. With us, you will receive benefits that make a difference; read about the benefits here (https://regionuppsala.se/jobba-hos-oss/bli-var-nya-kollega/formaner/). **Want to Know More?** If you have questions about the position, please contact Karin Bäckman, Head of Medication Supply, at 018 - 6171190. **Union Representative** Sveriges Farmaceuter: Caroline Arrhenius 018-6115574 **Would You Like to Work With Us?** We welcome your application via the link below.
