The position belongs to the unit for planning, dimensioning, and admissions and is responsible for planning and developing dimensioning documentation for high school education based on student enrollment, trends, and labor market needs. The unit coordinates work within the Helsingborg Family and is responsible for the admission process for national high school programs, introduction programs, and adapted high school, ensuring that applicants within the Helsingborg Family collaboration area are offered a high school placement.
Job Responsibilities
You will work in a politically governed organization and be located at the School and Leisure Administration office in Maria Park. As an admissions administrator, you are a key player in the admission process by handling matters from student application, reception, and through to admission. In this process, you will collaborate with primary schools, high schools, other admission offices, and various authorities and administrations. Primarily, you will have contact with officials in the area, but during certain periods, also with students and guardians. The different phases of the admission year offer variation in tasks and involve more intensive work periods from May to September. Together with our dedicated team in the unit, you will work on information initiatives regarding high school choice through workshops, high school fairs, and meetings with officials.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a college degree and experience working with official matters and legal issues. You are accustomed to taking responsibility and can lead yourself with a holistic view of processes, prioritizing within given time frames while being thorough, strategic, and decisive in your work. You can operate administrative systems and have the ability to drive processes forward.
With system competence and understanding of school operations and their complexity, you can translate new knowledge across multiple levels and interpret regulations and governing documents. You have high administrative competence and express yourself well verbally and in writing, with an eye for detail. You can easily adapt to different IT systems and see digitalization as an opportunity for efficiency and structure.
