About this role
About the position As an Accounting Economist, you will have a broad and independent responsibility for the accounting in several of the group's companies. You will handle everything from ongoing bookkeeping to monthly and annual financial statements and will also be involved in group reporting. You will work closely with the group's financial managers and leaders in the companies, making you a central part of the group's finance function. The role involves working across multiple companies, maintaining ongoing contact with operations, and using systems such as Monitor G5, Capego, and Excel. Since the group is international, some communication will be in English. Here, you will have a role where you both drive the operational accounting work and contribute to improving processes and routines.
About you We are looking for someone who has:
• At least 2-3 years of experience in accounting within a company or agency and has been active in year-end closing work.
• Strong knowledge of accounting according to Swedish regulations, as well as good system proficiency and Excel skills.
• Structure and accuracy, and is a person who works independently, takes initiative, and has a holistic view.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to collaborate; you understand the importance of financial reporting even outside the finance department.
• Very good Swedish and a good understanding of English. Experience from industrial companies, work in a group structure, and familiarity with Monitor G5 and Capego are advantageous.
