About this role

We continue to grow! Are you a driven and structured case officer who wants to help develop our new operations? Then we can offer you an interesting position with us at the Public Transition Organization. The department's mission is to contribute to more people entering the workforce and acquiring relevant skills by providing basic transition and skills support. Our mission also includes registering transition organizations and disbursing compensation to employers who finance registered transition organizations. The operations started in 2022 and are located in Kammarkollegiet's new activity-based premises in Karolinen, Karlstad. Job Description As an application officer, you will handle applications for basic transition and skills support. You will investigate and make decisions on cases by correctly applying the legislation. After a decision, you will assign advice and guidance to individuals through our external providers. The work includes both routine and more qualified tasks. Your responsibilities will also involve answering questions about transition and skills support, as well as conducting digital meetings with applicants and external partners. You will collaborate with your colleagues both on-site and digitally. You will actively work to develop your knowledge and share experiences. Since the organization is in a developmental phase, this means you can influence both your role and the development of the operations. It also means you may support other parts of the organization as needed. Are you our new colleague? We are looking for someone who: • has an academic degree in, for example, law, social sciences, or behavioral sciences – or equivalent experience and qualifications, • is accustomed to working with digital tools, • has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, • possesses strong communication skills, • has a structured and efficient working method, • collaborates well with others, • acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results. It is an advantage if you: • have relevant and current experience in case management and decision-making from a government agency, • have good knowledge of the labor market and its actors, • have a solid understanding of administrative law. We place great importance on your personal qualities. Kammarkollegiet strives for diversity and values the qualities it brings to the organization. We focus on competence and welcome all applicants regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, ethnic and social background, religion or belief, ability, sexual orientation, and age. More Information This is a fixed-term position for approximately one year. Start date by agreement. The position is located in Karlstad. We welcome your application by November 30, 2025, at the latest. In this recruitment, we ask that you attach a CV but no personal letter. To ensure a fair and equitable assessment of you as a candidate, we instead use selection questions in our recruitment system. We therefore ask you to answer the questions as thoroughly as possible so that we can determine how well you match the requested competencies.
