Do you want to work on construction projects that contribute to a sustainable and well-functioning Vetlanda? We are currently seeking a construction worker who wants to help develop the municipality's infrastructure.
In the Streets and Parks Department, we are responsible for the operation and maintenance of the municipality's streets and green areas. We carry out construction work, manage the municipality's vehicle administration, and work on internal assignments throughout Vetlanda Municipality. With our own machinery, such as wheeled excavators, wheel loaders, and trucks, we perform both planned tasks and urgent interventions.
As a construction worker, you will primarily focus on water and sewage (VA) work. This includes the installation and maintenance of water and sewage pipelines, both urgent repairs and more long-term renewal projects. The work takes place within the municipality's boundaries. You will also engage in various ground and maintenance tasks and have your own service vehicle for work purposes.
Our organization is relatively small, which means you will support other areas of the Streets and Parks unit as needed. You will be part of a team with supervisors and colleagues who together contribute to an important community function. The work is conducted during daytime hours and includes on-call duties, including snow removal and ice control.
We are looking for someone who is practical, service-oriented, and takes initiative in their work. You are equally comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with others and have a quality-conscious approach to your work. Experience with wheel loaders, tractors, or excavators is an advantage.

Qualifications
• We are looking for someone who is educated in construction and civil engineering at the high school level or has equivalent work experience.
• You have computer skills.
• VA certification for pipe networks is an advantage.
• You hold a B driver's license. A BE license is an advantage.
• Experience in construction and pipe laying work is an advantage.
