About this role

We are now looking for a licensed veterinary nurse who wants to be part of our wonderful team. Experience in anesthesia and an interest in dentistry are advantageous, but the most important qualities are your personal traits, where you are caring, engaged, and value good customer contact. AniCura Veterinärhuset Ängelholm is a well-regarded daytime clinic with high competence. We are a dedicated team consisting of five veterinarians (three of whom have specialist qualifications), four licensed veterinary nurses, one level 3 animal caregiver, and two receptionists. All staff have extensive experience in the profession, meaning you will have many knowledgeable colleagues who share their expertise. Here, everyone, including the clinic manager, participates in clinical work on the floor. At the clinic, we provide qualified, daytime outpatient care ranging from simple treatments to advanced medical and surgical specialist veterinary care. We have a fresh, spacious surgical department with a separate dental room, ophthalmology clinic, ultrasound, digital X-ray, and a well-equipped modern laboratory. About the Job As a licensed veterinary nurse with us, you will work in a team alongside veterinarians and animal caregivers. Your tasks will be varied and may include everything from general care and treatment of animals to assisting in outpatient care and surgeries. You preferably have previous experience working in an animal clinic/veterinary hospital. If you have worked in a surgical department and have experience with anesthesia, that is a plus. We are looking for someone who: * is a licensed veterinary nurse * has good collaboration skills with both colleagues and patients * has the ability to provide excellent service * easily builds relationships with patients and pet owners * is interested in or willing to further educate themselves in anesthesia * is proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written You describe yourself as curious, with good communication skills and a big heart for companion animals.
