The Hospital in Ystad is an acute care hospital that provides a wide range of specialized care, both emergency and planned. We offer health and medical care around the clock with quality and accessibility, a holistic approach, and compassion as our hallmarks. Each year, approximately 5,000 surgeries are performed here, one-third of which are emergency surgeries. We plan to increase our capacity and efficiency as we are currently undergoing a major renovation to improve the work environment and logistics, so that we can meet future needs.
The surgical operations consist of general surgery, gynecology, urology, ENT, and orthopedics. Our patients range widely in age, from children to older adults. JOB DESCRIPTION
We are now looking for specialized nurses with a focus on anesthesia.
As an anesthesiology nurse, you work in a team within perioperative care. You also participate in emergencies and transport. We offer a stimulating job with a variety of procedures. We have five operating rooms in central surgery and a day surgery operating room in another building. The emergency operations include a mix of procedures such as orthopedics, surgery/urology, and cesarean sections. We have a preoperative department, an anesthesiology nurse reception, and a part in staffing the recovery department.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with eligibility to practice in Swedish healthcare. You are a trained specialized nurse with a focus on anesthesia care. Language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages is a requirement. We prefer that you have at least two years of experience as an anesthesiology nurse.
