Day Surgery Norrköping is an operation and endoscopic unit at Vrinnevisjukhuset in Norrköping. The clinic is centrally located in new, modern facilities designed to ensure patient-safe care within Operation, Recovery, and Endoscopic activities.
The facility includes six high-tech operating rooms and three endoscopic examination rooms. In addition, there is a recovery ward with 13 beds. We work Monday-Friday, with working hours between 07:00-17:00, where employees have the opportunity to influence their schedule.
Job Description
The work involves pre-, per-, and post-operative care of the unit's patients, where you are a crucial part of the operating department's patient flow. Together with the team, you will handle many types of patients in ear, nose, throat, surgery, orthopedics, urology, and gynecology. You will have a responsible and stimulating job where you can participate in development work throughout the clinic.
Work Group
The operating room team consists of an anesthesia nurse, surgical nurse, and nursing assistant who work closely with an anesthesiologist and surgeon in a team around the patient.
About You
You must have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, as you work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues.
You have good collaborative skills, are flexible, and contribute to a positive work environment. You plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively. As a person, you are calm, attentive, and always patient-focused. You are also receptive and work well with others, easily adapting your perspective. We seek someone who takes initiative and wants to contribute to improvement and development work. In your professional role, you are confident and see opportunities for growth.
