Bid Engineer to Vinnergi

Your role as a Bid Engineer As a Bid Engineer, you will be a key person in developing business-oriented, technically accurate, and competitive bids for our clients. You will be responsible for the entire bidding process, from analyzing tender documents and making assessments to drafting technical descriptions, delivery strategies, and staffing plans that meet the client's requirements and evaluation model. The role involves internal collaboration where you coordinate and gather input from technical experts, project managers, and business support to ensure that all parts of the bid are delivered on schedule. A crucial part of the role is to ensure the quality of the entire bid submission – from language and formalities to technical content and mandatory attachments – and to ensure that everything is submitted correctly via procurement portals. The role also includes recurring tenders for our largest clients in the energy sector, where you contribute to strong customer relationships and long-term business value. This is a broad and stimulating role for someone who enjoys combining structure, customer focus, business acumen, and technical understanding. Who are you? We are looking for someone with experience as a Bid Engineer or a similar role within electrical networks, electrical power, or a related industry – for example, from suppliers, manufacturers, or consulting firms. You have a strong understanding of consulting operations and are skilled at combining contracts, commercial terms, and customer needs, with the goal of creating value for our clients. You are comfortable working with technical requirements, contractual issues, and commercial terms, and have good experience in bid management, procurement, and negotiations. Knowledge of AMA/ABT04/ABT06 is an advantage. It is also advantageous if you have financial understanding and have previously worked in projects as a controller or in roles with administrative and business-oriented characteristics.
