The Military Intelligence and Security Service (Must) conducts defense intelligence and military intelligence and security services to support Swedish foreign, defense, and security policy, as well as to map external threats against Sweden.

Primary Work Tasks
A significant part of the work as an analyst at Must involves processing, analysis, assessment, and sharing of intelligence-specific information related to asymmetric threats. The work sometimes involves close collaboration with other units within Must, the Swedish Armed Forces, and other authorities.
Qualifications
• Relevant academic degree, such as military, social science, or civil engineering education, or other experience that the employer deems equivalent.
• Excellent ability to express oneself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English.
• Several years of professional experience after graduation in an area deemed relevant by the employer.
Meritorious
• Experience from the Swedish Armed Forces.
• Knowledge or experience in one of the following areas: Cyber domain, space domain including ground segment, nuclear technology, CBRN, or political science.
• Good ability to understand complex technical systems.
• Experience in analyzing large data sets.
• Language skills in Russian or Chinese.
• Experience in intelligence services and/or analytical work.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, source-critical approach.
Personal Characteristics
Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. The position requires that you are interested in current global issues, have the ability to see connections and handle complex issues, and can work both individually and in groups. Further, you must be able to switch between long-term and short-term tasks. The position requires a high ability to build and maintain good relationships. Other significant qualities are good judgment and integrity.
