About the Position As one of our employees has retired, we are now seeking a new colleague for Team Amcor Lidköping and the technical team. As a tool technician, you will work with analysis/status assessment, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and improvement of our production tools. You are our tool specialist, ensuring that production tools maintain the right quality and efficiency. Based on the production plan, you will prepare tools for production and test runs, in close collaboration with production and production planning. Job Responsibilities You will be responsible for purchasing relevant spare parts and storing them to ensure optimal tool maintenance. The role also includes documenting and following up on tool maintenance and being responsible for developing and communicating maintenance routines. The work is largely independent, where you work with freedom under responsibility. You have great opportunities to influence and develop the role and work content in the tool department. You will have close collaboration with colleagues in maintenance. When needed, you will also support maintenance technicians with maintenance work in production and assist your colleague with other workshop tasks. Qualifications Background and Competence: We are looking for someone with experience working with tools and workshop machines or equivalent competence/education. To succeed in the role, process understanding, quality as a top priority, and a solution-oriented approach are required. Fluent Swedish in speech and writing and good IT skills are mandatory. Plastic competence and Forklift License (A+B) are meritorious. Preferably, you also have experience with measurement technology, drawing reading, tool design, as well as turning, milling, welding, and grinding.
