The ambulance service in Värmland spans the entire county, with ambulances stationed in twelve locations. We are a suitably sized and cohesive healthcare organization with short decision-making paths that allow you to see the whole picture and make an impact.
In preparation for summer 2026, we are seeking new employees for the ambulance station in Sunne. Summer positions may transition into permanent roles.
The ambulance service is challenged by the urgent care of the sick and injured in many different environments. By assessing, referring, treating, and transporting patients, we contribute to ensuring that the patient receives appropriate care at the right level of service. Our goal is to always have a safe patient who knows the next part of the care pathway.
Healthcare is based on our patients' needs and employees' competencies. We aim to advance healthcare together with our staff. We work for a good working environment with stimulating tasks and individually tailored onboarding. All new hires undergo a 7-week introduction and position training.
We are looking for individuals who are trained paramedics with priority 1 certification. You are responsible, flexible, and possess strong collaboration skills. A B driver's license and a C1/C driver's license are required, with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
Before a potential employment, you will need to complete work tests and pass a health examination conducted by the region. Region Värmland promotes a drug-free workplace and applies mandatory drug testing for new hires.
