The ambulance service is challenged by the urgent care of the sick and injured in many different environments. By assessing, referring, caring for, and transporting patients, we contribute to ensuring that patients receive appropriate care at the right level. Our goal is always to have a secure patient who understands the next step in the care chain.
Healthcare is centered around our patients’ needs and the competencies of our staff. We aim to advance healthcare in collaboration with our employees. We strive for a good working environment, with stimulating tasks and individually tailored onboarding. All new hires undergo a 7-week introduction and position training.
We are looking for individuals who are trained paramedics with priority 1 authorization. You are responsible, flexible, and possess strong collaboration skills. A B driver's license and C1/C driver's license are required, with at least 3 years of driving experience.
Before a possible employment, you will be required to complete work tests as well as undergo a health check approved by the region. Region Värmland advocates for a drug-free work environment and implements mandatory drug testing for new hires.
