The ambulance service in Värmland is county-wide with ambulances stationed in twelve locations. We are a suitably sized and cohesive healthcare organization with short decision-making paths that allow you to see the big picture and be involved in making an impact.
For the summer of 2026, we are seeking new employees for the ambulance station in Råda. Summer positions may transition into permanent roles.
The ambulance service faces the challenge of managing acute care for the sick and injured in various environments. By assessing, referring, caring for, and transporting patients, we contribute to ensuring patients receive proper care at the appropriate level. Our goal is to always have a confident patient who understands the next step in their care pathway.
Work shifts will occur both day and night.
Healthcare is based on the needs of our patients and the competencies of our staff. We aim to advance healthcare together with our employees. We strive for a good working environment with stimulating tasks and an individually tailored onboarding process. All new hires undergo a 7-week introduction and position training.
We are looking for you who are a trained ambulance care provider with priority 1 certification. As a person, you are responsible and flexible with good collaboration skills. A B driver's license and a C1/C driver's license are required, with at least 3 years of driving experience.
Before any employment, you will need to complete work tests and undergo an approved health assessment conducted by the region. Region Värmland promotes a drug-free work environment and applies mandatory drug testing for new staff.

On Tuesday, December 9, a full day will be held for interviews and work tests. It is desirable that you bring a certificate verifying your ability to swim 200 meters and a copy of your criminal record check for this day.
