Ambulance Healthcare Arjeplog is a rural station where we work around the clock, every day of the year, providing pre-hospital emergency medical care with the vital task of delivering care and support to patients of all ages. We are seeking an ambulance healthcare worker with at least 3 years of continuous possession of a B driver's license. You should have good physical fitness as heavy lifting is part of the job. Physical tests will be conducted before employment. Previous experience in emergency healthcare is considered meritorious.

What you will work with:
In ambulance healthcare, you will encounter patients of all ages who have experienced acute illness or injury either in their homes, outdoors, or at accident sites. Together with an ambulance nurse, you form a team that is often first on the scene of serious illness or accident. You will conduct the initial assessment together with the ambulance nurse. Each intervention in ambulance healthcare involves unique situations and challenges where your help can be crucial and make a real difference.
Ambulance healthcare is organizationally a separate unit within acute care, and in rural areas, it includes integration with primary healthcare. The team works together and collaborates with other professionals such as emergency departments, municipalities, rescue services, and police. Arjeplog is Sweden's fourth-largest municipality by area and is one of four municipalities in Norrbotten where ambulance healthcare collaborates with police/mountain rescue in terrain rescue missions.

Job Information:
We offer a full-time or part-time temporary position, by agreement, from 2026-01-01 to 2027-08-31. Work schedule involves rotation, 24/7, with on-call duties. Start date 2026-01-01.
