Ambulance Operations Dalsland Södra The ambulance operations under NU Health are organized into six sub-regions: Bohus Norr (Tanum, Strömstad, and Kungshamn), Bohus Väst (Munkedal, Hallinden, and Lysekil), Dalsland Norra (Åmål, Bengtsfors), Dalsland Södra (Dals Ed, Mellerud, and Färgelanda), Trestad Väst (Uddevalla and Henån), and Trestad Öst (Trollhättan, Vänersborg, and Lilla Edet). Our mission is to assess and refer patients to the appropriate care facility and, if necessary, provide care and transport for patients. An important part of our work is to always treat patients, relatives, colleagues, management, and other collaborating parties with a positive attitude, focusing on respect and empathy. Qualifications To serve as an ambulance nurse, you must have at least a nursing assistant qualification with additional training in ambulance care of 20 or 40 weeks. You must have completed an approved emergency driver training. If the training was conducted outside NU Health, an individual assessment will be made. You should have good physical capacity. Tests are included in the recruitment process. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, flexibility, the ability to work independently, and social competence. A Class C1 driver's license is required. Working Hours Working hours are scheduled according to an individual roster, including daytime, night, and weekend shifts.
