The Ambulance Service is challenged by the urgent care of the ill and injured in many various environments. By assessing, referring, caring for, and transporting patients, we contribute to ensuring that patients receive the necessary care at the right level. Our goal is to always have a secure patient who understands the next phase in the care continuum.
Work shifts will occur both day and night.
Healthcare is centered around the needs of our patients and the competencies of our staff. We aim to advance healthcare together with our employees. We prioritize a good working environment with stimulating tasks and individualized onboarding. All new hires undergo a 7-week orientation and position-specific training.
We are looking for candidates who are either ambulance nurses or licensed nurses with at least 1 year of clinical experience. As a person, you are responsible and flexible with strong collaboration skills.
Before any employment can be offered, candidates must complete work tests and undergo an approved health assessment conducted by the region. Region Värmland promotes a drug-free workplace and mandates drug testing for new hires.
On Tuesday, December 9, a full day for interviews and work tests will be held in Karlstad. If you are shortlisted for the position, you will be invited to this day via a separate email. It is preferable that you bring proof of your ability to swim 200 meters.
