Ambulance Healthcare Arvidsjaur is a rural station where we work around the clock, 365 days a year, providing pre-hospital emergency medical care with the vital task of delivering care and support to patients of all ages. We are seeking a licensed nurse with at least 3 years of continuous possession of a B driver's license. You should have good physical condition as heavy lifting is involved in the work. Physical tests will be conducted before employment. Previous experience in emergency care, elderly care, or primary care is considered meritorious.

What you will work with:
In ambulance healthcare, you will encounter patients of all ages who have been affected by acute illness or injury, either in their homes, outdoors, or at accident sites. Together with an ambulance care worker or ambulance nurse, you form a team that is often first on the scene of serious illness or accident.
As an ambulance nurse, you will make the initial assessment, perform treatment, and have the medical responsibility for deciding on care and treatment interventions. In ambulance healthcare, each intervention involves unique situations and challenges where your help can be crucial and make a real difference.
Ambulance healthcare is organizationally a separate unit within acute care, and in rural areas, it includes integration with primary healthcare. The team works together and collaborates with other professionals such as emergency departments, municipalities, rescue services, and police. Arvidsjaur is known for its beautiful nature, surrounded by vast forests and lakes.

About the position:
We offer permanent full-time employment with rotation work, 24/7. Start date: 2026-01-01.
Selection and interviews will be conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
