Ambulance Healthcare Arjeplog is a rural station where we work around the clock, all year round, providing pre-hospital emergency medical care with the vital task of delivering care and support to patients of all ages. Then now is your chance to become part of our fantastic team! We are seeking a licensed nurse with at least 3 years of continuous possession of a B driver's license. You should have good physical condition as heavy lifting is part of the job. Physical tests will be conducted before employment. Previous experience in emergency healthcare is considered meritorious. What You Will Do In ambulance healthcare, you will encounter patients of all ages who have experienced acute illness or injury, either in their homes, outdoors, or at accident sites. Together with an ambulance caregiver or ambulance nurse, you form a team that is often first on the scene of serious illness or accident. As an ambulance nurse, you perform the initial assessment, provide treatment, and have the medical responsibility for deciding on care and treatment interventions. Each intervention in ambulance healthcare involves unique situations and challenges where your help can be crucial and make a real difference. Ambulance healthcare is an independent unit within acute care, and in rural areas, it involves integration with primary care. The team works together and collaborates with other professionals such as emergency departments, municipalities, rescue services, and police. Arjeplog is Sweden's fourth-largest municipality by area and is one of four municipalities in Norrbotten where ambulance healthcare collaborates with police/mountain rescue during mountain rescue missions. Work schedule involves rotation, 24/7, with on-call duty. Start date: 2026-01-01.
