The Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics conducts research in numerical mathematics, discrete mathematics, mathematical modeling and analysis, mathematical statistics, and mathematics for artificial intelligence. Our teaching occurs at all levels and includes mathematics, mathematical statistics, and computer science. Our partners include international research groups, academic institutions, public organizations, and businesses.
The Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics is seeking teaching assistants for the spring semester of 2026. The application deadline is Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

Selection among applicants will be based on qualifications, suitability, and experience with similar tasks. We would like to see a balanced gender distribution among our teaching assistants and therefore particularly encourage women to apply.
The extent of employment will be between 25% and 50% of full-time over 3 to 6 months, beginning on February 1, 2025, or by agreement.
