About Us The Unit for Student Recruitment and Marketing is part of the Department of Communication and Collaboration Support. The unit is responsible for student recruitment, broadened recruitment, graphic design, and web services. Line 14 is a collaboration between Örebro University and Örebro Municipality, which started in Vivalla in 2003. The goal of the collaboration was to assist more students from non-academic backgrounds in successfully completing their studies and subsequently pursuing higher education. Since then, the initiative has grown, and currently, Line 14 operates in seven secondary schools and three youth centers within Örebro Municipality. You will engage in relationship-building activities for elementary school students aimed at raising awareness of the university and increasing study motivation. Your responsibilities will include leading study support sessions on a weekly basis at secondary schools and youth centers around Örebro, which involves providing students with assistance and guidance in their studies, as well as serving as a role model. Study support sessions are held in the afternoons starting from 2:30 PM. During certain periods of the term, there will also be opportunities to lead workshops during the day at schools and host study visits on campus, where you will share your experiences from your studies, student life, and your journey to Örebro University. Qualifications To be considered for the position of student ambassador within Line 14, you must be enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program. We expect you to have strong social skills to engage with children and young people in a trustworthy manner, as well as good collaborative abilities. Assistants may be employed for one year at a time, with a maximum total employment period of three years for an assistant.
