The LTH Library is located in House A. We are now seeking three student assistants at Lund University, preferably from the programs at LTH or from ABM (Archives, Libraries, and Museums), for part-time work at the library's information desk. **Job responsibilities** As a student assistant, your tasks may vary and will provide insight into the academic world at the faculty where you are studying. In this role, you will provide service at our information desk for LTH’s students and staff. The responsibilities mainly include: - Staffing the information desk - Performing basic library tasks such as loans, book shelving, and labeling books LTH offers programs in both Swedish and English, and you will use both languages at the library's loan desk. Some independent work is included in the desk service, and you will need to be able to make independent decisions within provided frameworks. **Qualifications** Eligible for employment as a student assistant are those who have been admitted to a bachelor's or master's program at the faculty (or a related field for the joint institutions). A degree must not have been awarded. Requirements for the position are: - Admitted to a program at Lund University - Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written - Good IT skills - Responsible and self-sufficient - Organized with a good sense of order - Good teamwork skills - Strong customer service orientation Meritorious for the position are: - Student in one of LTH’s programs or at ABM - Experience in library work or other service-related work Significant emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
