**Student Tutor Position**
The Department of Law is seeking a student tutor for work as a student teacher for the second term, in preparation for the spring term of 2026.
The course in General Property Law aims to provide knowledge about the fundamental structures and institutions, including central legislation, within property law and related civil procedural law. The course aims to enable application and critical analysis of such legal rules and to orient students regarding international aspects and the social and economic significance of these regulations. The course will also provide knowledge of legal methodology as well as training in both written and oral presentation.

**Qualifications**
To be employed as a student tutor, you must be an active student at the undergraduate or advanced level within the relevant faculty and have not yet graduated.
Requirements for the position include:
- You must be a student in the law program at Lund University.
- You possess a solid knowledge of general property law and a strong interest in the subjects covered in the course.
- You can work independently and have good teamwork skills.
**Desirable Qualifications**
It is beneficial for the position if you:
- Have pedagogical experience.
- Have knowledge in non-legal subjects related to business law, such as economics.
According to the Higher Education Ordinance (https://www.riksdagen.se/sv/dokument-och-lagar/dokument/svensk-forfattningssamling/hogskoleforordning-1993100_sfs-1993-100/#K5), only those who are accepted into an undergraduate or graduate program may be employed as a student tutor.

**Job Duties**
As a student tutor, your tasks may vary, but you must study at the faculty where the work will be conducted, and the tasks should provide insight into the academic world.
The responsibilities for this position include:
- Lecturing on subjects relevant to the course.
- Leading exercises that prepare students for examinations.
- Teaching students study techniques.
- Developing and producing course materials.
**Conditions**
The position is temporary, from January 18, 2026, to June 7, 2026, with a workload of 12% of full-time.
The employment must not negatively impact the tutor's studies and cannot be combined with other jobs. Regulations regarding student employment as a tutor can be found in the Higher Education Ordinance (https://rkrattsdb.gov.se/SFSdoc/17/170284.PDF), Chapter 5, Sections 8-12.
