ALT Hiss is seeking an experienced elevator modernization technician in Stockholm

We are now seeking a self-driven modernization technician for ALT Hiss in Stockholm. About the Job: As a modernization technician at ALT Hiss, you will work on replacing major components of elevators, such as doors, motors, cables, and elevator cars. You will also update electrical controls and, when necessary, replace machinery and door systems. The work is both physically and technically demanding and involves great responsibility—therefore, we are looking for someone who is confident in making decisions and solving problems on-site. You need to be able to plan, execute, and complete your work independently, while also collaborating well with both colleagues and customers. You will work with elevators from various manufacturers, making the job diverse and developmental. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are looking for someone with experience in both electrical and mechanical fields, preferably with a couple of years' experience in elevator modernization, installation, or repair. You are a self-sufficient, solution-oriented, and responsible person who can take your own initiative and drive the work forward—even when circumstances change. You thrive in a role where you have a lot of freedom, while also being meticulous, service-oriented, and good at collaborating in a team.
