Tantum is a family-owned company rooted in fine traditional craftsmanship. Our carpentry began in 1973. Nowadays, our famous Tantum interiors account for the majority of our production and can be found in care homes, schools, and other demanding environments throughout the Nordic region. Another important part of our business is contract manufacturing in large and small series for the automotive, maritime, and building materials industries. While we have craftsmanship in our genes, we today utilize the very latest technology, featuring robot-equipped CNC machines and presses for precision gluing of cabinet frames. Our production facility manufactures and assembles kitchen furnishings for public environments as well as contract manufacturing for the automotive and maritime industries, among others. Tantum AB in Malmö is looking to expand its production with an additional colleague after the New Year—a proactive and versatile assembler with experience working with wood materials.
**Responsibilities**
You will independently carry out carpentry and assembly work within production based on specified drawings, utilizing equipment such as table routers, planers, and adjustable saws. We believe that you, as an individual, appreciate a job with variety and constant challenges.

**To fit in, the following is required:**
* Preferably experience or education as an assembler or carpentry worker in wood production/industry.
* Familiarity with machinery from the wood industry/carpentry.
* Good knowledge of reading technical drawings.
* Proficiency with tools (screwing, sawing/cutting, milling, drilling, etc.).
* Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
* Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
* Computer literacy.
* CNC experience/training is an advantage.
* Forklift certification is an advantage.
**Note:** We are not looking for building carpenters with professional certification.

You are responsible and driven with a forward-thinking mindset. Organized and meticulous to ensure quality in the final product, and possess logical thinking skills. You have strong social competencies, as fitting into the group and collaborating with others is important. We place great value on your interest and attitude.
**Work Location & Hours**
The work will take place at Tantum's facility in Malmö. Working hours are Monday to Thursday (06:30-16:05) and Fridays (06:30-12:30). Collective agreement GS applies.
Start date is in January 2026, week 2.
This is a so-called temp-to-perm recruitment where our client collaborates with us at Ny Kollega. After the rental period (usually about 6 months), the person we are looking for will be hired by our client company.
