Mariefred Healthcare Center
About Us
Are you interested in working as a district physician at a healthcare center with stable medical staffing?
Mariefred Healthcare Center is a region-operated, well-established healthcare center with just under 11,000 registered patients, located in the charming town of Mariefred.
We are approximately 45 employees collaborating to provide our patients with excellent care, focusing on patient needs. Our facility includes physician consultations, nursing services, child healthcare, and rehabilitation, including psychosocial support, all under one roof. Our physician group currently consists of seven specialists in general medicine, an internal medicine physician pursuing dual specialization, and four additional resident physicians. We also consistently host two medical interns. All patients are assigned a dedicated, named specialist or resident physician. As a specialist, you will have a limited assignment with a maximum of 1,500 listed residents at present.
Our responsibilities include nursing homes, home healthcare, and child healthcare, providing opportunities for additional assignments based on your areas of interest.
Here, you will enjoy a varied work environment, meeting patients of all ages, backgrounds, and varying healthcare needs. Our healthcare center utilizes multiprofessional teams for all patients, and since we are located further from hospitals, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of medical issues.
Your Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the patients listed under your care, with a clearly defined scope. We share daily responsibility for acute care flow and individual planned consultations. You will naturally collaborate with other professionals at the healthcare center and serve as a mentor for resident and intern physicians. You will be part of a physician group working together to develop primary care, focusing on quality, continuity, accessibility, and attractiveness.
Some on-call and standby duties at the primary care emergency center in Strängnäs are included.
Your Qualifications
• Licensed physician, specialist in general medicine, or physician with Swedish medical license after internship, committed to specializing in general medicine
• Enjoys working independently with varied tasks
• Strong collaboration skills and flexibility
• Experience working at a healthcare center and interested in professional development
• Valid driver's license (B-license)
We place significant emphasis on personal qualities.
