Sydnärkes Education Association is a municipal federation located in Hallsberg, with Askersund, Hallsberg, and Laxå as member municipalities. On behalf of the member municipalities, we lead and are responsible for upper secondary education, adult education, and commissioned training. JOB DESCRIPTION We are now seeking a teacher in Swedish as a second language and Swedish for teaching in our national programs. Depending on needs and scope, there may also be opportunities for some teaching within adult education. You will plan and conduct well-structured and engaging lessons that promote both learning and language development. You will evaluate students' progress based on curriculum standards and adapt teaching methods to individual needs. You will contribute to creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel motivated and secure to participate and learn. You will be part of a subject team and a program work team where you will have other Swedish teachers as colleagues. As a teacher, you play a very important role in our organization, as language is the key to our students' success in future studies, professional life, and society. The position is a temporary contract for the spring term at 80-100%, with the possibility of extension. QUALIFICATIONS Requirements: • We are looking for a licensed teacher in Swedish as a second language and/or Swedish with qualifications to teach at the upper secondary level. • You are experienced in working with language and knowledge development, see relationship-building as an important cornerstone of daily work, and are challenged by developing teaching based on different students' needs and conditions. • You have good experience working with various digital tools and aids.
