Activity Supporter for Social Psychiatry
We are currently seeking an activity supporter for our activity center within Falu Municipality's social psychiatry. This is a meaningful job where you will contribute to creating structure, community, and content in the daily lives of individuals with mental health issues. The operation offers daily activities aimed at breaking isolation, promoting participation, and strengthening individuals' opportunities to achieve their own goals. We are entering an exciting phase of development where we want to broaden our range of activities – and we are looking for someone who wants to join us on this journey!
Responsibilities
About the Activity Center
The activity center is a daily engagement program within Falu Municipality's social psychiatry. Activities are designed based on participants' interests, needs, and daily conditions. The program combines creative expression with practical elements. One example is our second-hand store, where participants have the opportunity to engage in a social context involving recycling, sorting, and customer interaction. We also collaborate with a local company on material assembly, providing participants with the chance to work on clear tasks in partnership with the business community.
The operation is under development, and we are actively working to strengthen the connection to the business group within social psychiatry. The goal is to create more work-like engagement opportunities and offer a pathway forward for participants who are ready for the next step. The activity center is a safe and developmental environment where each individual is given the opportunity to grow at their own pace. The operation is characterized by respect, commitment, and a low-arousal approach – and as an activity supporter, you will help shape the content together with colleagues and participants.
In this role, you will manage documentation and implementation plans in our relevant operational systems. You will represent the engagement by participating in SIP or other important collaboration meetings.

• Good computer skills beyond Windows
• A valid driver's license (B)
Personal Attributes
As a person, you are secure, attentive, and have a genuine interest in working with people. You have a strong ability to build trusting relationships and approach each individual with respect and engagement. You are flexible and creative, allowing you to adapt activities to participants' daily conditions and needs.
You have a low-arousal approach and are accustomed to working in a structured manner, even in situations that require patience and perseverance. You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team, actively contributing to a positive work environment. Your initiative and willingness to develop the operation enable you to see opportunities and take responsibility for driving the work forward together with colleagues and participants.
