About this role
About Passalen
Passalen is a non-profit organization that works towards a more inclusive society that recognizes the potential in all children. We create inclusion for children and young people with disabilities who need support in organizing their leisure time, finding a friend, or trying out summer jobs, and we conduct activities that promote interactions between people.
Passalen is affiliated with collective agreements and operates in several locations across Sweden. As an employee with us, you will develop and learn on the job while contributing to a more inclusive and socially sustainable society.
Weekend Club
Passalen's activities are carried out through various programs and projects, and in this role, you will work in the Weekend Club.
The Weekend Club is an educational program where children and young people with disabilities have the opportunity to practice social interaction in smaller groups based on shared interests. Participants are divided into groups of approximately 8-10 based on overarching interest areas such as games, sports, and arts. The Weekend Club is a recurring weekend activity with groups that meet on Saturdays and Sundays one weekend a month, and groups that meet either Saturday or Sunday every other weekend.
The activities are held at different locations depending on the group. All groups occasionally visit open meeting places, which may include cinemas, museums, gaming cafes, bowling alleys, or similar venues, depending on the group's theme.
