About this role

Ref: 20252765 Job Responsibilities We are looking for an activity leader for Daily Activities. Your role as an activity leader involves close work with users, participating in daily tasks alongside users with autism and intellectual disabilities who require extensive support. We operate according to a clear pedagogical approach aimed at making the world as clear and predictable as possible. Care tasks are carried out based on the user's support needs. Together with other staff, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating, and developing the operations. Your tasks will also include documentation, both individually and collaboratively with other staff. You will create activity descriptions and implementation plans to meet the interests and needs of the users. You are expected to contribute to creating meaning and security, shaping the operations according to the users' abilities and needs. As an activity leader, you will also be responsible for tasks such as preparing documentation for habilitation compensation payments, ordering and reviewing in the financial system, alarms, fire safety checks, reporting issues, activity rooms, and other necessities for the operation. You are expected to actively participate in any change initiatives and continuously work solution-focused for the benefit of the users. Qualifications To be considered for the position, you need to have completed and approved studies from the health and social care program or the child and leisure program, or another equivalent education that the employer assesses as comparable. It is a requirement that you have: • Experience working with users with autism and intellectual disabilities who require extensive support within target group 1 (Pk1) according to LSS. • Experience with clear pedagogical methods. • Familiarity with low-arousal approaches – you have a calm and receptive demeanor and are skilled at meeting people where they are. • A B driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle is required for one of the positions. To succeed in this role, you need to feel confident in independently leading and guiding users within Daily Activities. It is important to us that you have a good view of people, a respectful approach, and strong pedagogical skills. As an activity leader, you will work closely with the users to create the content of the operations together. You must be flexible, responsive, and creative. Given that you will encounter many different users and colleagues, high demands are placed on social agility, independence, and self-assurance. Job tasks may change and develop rapidly, and as an employee, you should be flexible and able to shift focus, take initiative, and make independent decisions. You should be good at handling stress, adapting to rapid changes, and altered conditions. You should be computer literate and able to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. We would also appreciate good knowledge of documentation. About the Workplace Daily Activities according to LSS are aimed at individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism, as well as individuals with acquired brain injuries in adulthood. Daily Activities should contribute to good living conditions and enable meaningful activities. We center the needs of the users and adapt the content to ensure it is stimulating and meaningful for them.
