AKG Sweden Seeks Pedagogue for Value-Creating Assignment - IPSU! IPSU - Individual Pedagogical Support in Education is a valuable and high-quality service procured by the Swedish Public Employment Service with the ultimate goal of taking strategic responsibility in labor market policy by giving more people the chance to complete education in various shortage occupations. To make educational initiatives accessible for job seekers with disabilities, the Public Employment Service offers specialized pedagogical support in the form of IPSU with our assistance. Learn more about the assignment here. As an IPSU Pedagogue, you will work most closely with our participant under the guidance of our special education teacher. Assignments vary greatly and may involve a pedagogical approach where you meet the participant several hours each day or just a few hours per week. Pedagogical support for each participant takes place with different educational providers, which means a varied and developing workday. It is important that you enjoy a changing work situation. Some courses include lessons in outdoor environments. Your mission is to contribute to the participant's ability to complete their studies through special educational methods and the use of technical aids, apps, etc. You are a complement to the regular teacher and are not expected to teach or know the subjects in the current curriculum. The role largely involves: • Pedagogical work supporting (1) participant in an educational setting • Collaboration and dialogue with staff from various actors providing educational initiatives for our participants, such as teachers from labor market training providers • Participation in collegiate forums, follow-ups, and quality work • Collaboration with responsible specialists such as audiologists, special education teachers, visual education specialists, sign language competence, or licensed occupational therapists • Reporting and documentation of implemented interventions in various systems Your workday will be flexible, challenging, and highly value-creating! Formal Requirements and Desired Experience - Documented experience working with individuals with disabilities in an educational setting for at least one year. - Documented experience working with cognitive aids in an educational setting for at least one year.
