A-Staffing Construction has over 15 years of experience in project staffing of skilled workers and professionals within carpentry, concrete/reinforcement, and construction. We work on everything from smaller local projects, new residential and commercial properties to larger infrastructure projects such as tunnels and bridges. The company has long been a leader in concrete and reinforcement work, with a very good reputation in the industry and has participated in several major projects across Sweden such as Barkabytunneln, Korsvägen-Västlänken, Kaj 16, Centralstation-Västlänken, and Karlatornet, among others. Business Area Manager Gothenburg for A-Staffing Construction We are looking for a driven and experienced leader from the construction or civil engineering sector who wants to further develop a strong and well-established operation throughout Sweden, based in Gothenburg. The company is entering an exciting phase where the focus is on developing the business, strengthening the methodology around project staffing in large contracting projects. After a period of high workload and organizational challenges, there is now a desire to scale up by enhancing leadership, creating structure, and continuing to grow sustainably. The individual will play a central role, closely collaborating with the CEO to create stability, build long-term customer relationships, and contribute to the growth of employees in their roles. Responsibilities and Tasks The Business Area Manager is responsible for driving and developing the business area towards profitable growth. The role entails taking a holistic approach to the business, from strategy to operational execution, as well as building structure, processes, and methodologies that support a sustainable and efficient organization. • Contribute to the development and profitability of the business area • Build and further develop the structure, processes, and methodologies for project staffing • Work closely with the CEO and office manager on business strategic issues and customer relationships • Monitor ongoing projects in concrete, construction, and building • Track key metrics, results, and customer satisfaction • Develop long-term customer relationships and identify new business opportunities within the construction sector • Actively contribute to the overall strategic work. Knowledge and Experience • Relevant post-secondary education in construction, civil engineering, or infrastructure, or equivalent experience from the industry • Experience in a leading role within the construction or civil engineering sector, for example as Site Manager, Project Manager, or Operations Manager. Alternatively, you have run your own construction company. • Desired experience in concrete, reinforcement, and larger infrastructure projects, or other experience with large projects in construction • Good understanding of project management • Ability to build trust, drive change, and create engagement.
