About this role
WHO ARE WE
Visionite is an IT consulting company with 100% focus on people. At our company, work-life balance and well-being permeate everything we do. We believe that people who feel good, perform well. It's that simple. We are proud to have been named Sweden's best workplace, best IT employer, and Gazelle Company in both 2024 and 2025.
Visionite is one of Sweden's fastest-growing IT consulting companies. Founded in 2018 in Umeå, we now have offices in 23 locations across the country. Our Östersund office opened in 2020, and from here, together with our sister office in Åre, we have built a business with around 40 senior IT specialists.
Our offices are located in the heart of the action – at Stortorget in Östersund and in the Product House in Åre, and we are proud to be part of Jämtland's strong growth. We who lead the office are Christian and Teodor. We are ambitious, but we don't believe success requires a tie. We like to laugh, we like people, and we like building something real – together. We hope you feel the same.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The most important personality trait we seek in our employees is kindness. We want to be and work with kind people. It's not always the first word that comes to mind in a business plan, but we can promise it works wonders – both for our relationships and our results.
As a Business Manager with us, you'll have a broad and developing role where you're responsible for both the business and the people. You'll build and nurture relationships with customers, IT specialists, and partners. You'll attract and recruit new colleagues, match the right expertise with the right assignments, and ensure our consultants are doing well – both at work and outside of it.
You'll have managerial responsibility for a number of senior IT specialists, following their development, motivation, and work-life balance. This involves coaching, supporting, and creating the right conditions for them to succeed in their assignments. You'll also maintain ongoing contact with customers and suppliers, handle contract dialogues, and ensure that both assignments and business dealings land correctly.
WHO ARE YOU?
This is a role for someone who enjoys working independently but still be part of a tight-knit team. You like people, you're fearless in conversations, and you gain energy from doing business that feels good in your gut. You have likely worked in a role with sales and delivery focus, perhaps in IT, consulting, or a similar industry, and know how to build long-term relationships. You have experience leading recruitment processes from start to finish and are inspired by the goal of shaping Jämtland's most attractive workplace for IT specialists.
So, in addition to the above personal skills and experiences, we would like you to have, for example:
• Previous experience from a role with strong sales and delivery focus where you had many customer touchpoints with responsibility from meeting booking to signed contract.
• Experience from the IT consulting industry or a similar industry where you've had extensive contact with candidates and gained understanding and knowledge of IT.
We like structure and pace, but always make sure to laugh along the way. After an intense period, we're happy to swap keyboards for ski slopes – that's Work-Life Balance for us!
WHAT DO WE OFFER?
We offer a fun, responsible, and developing role in a rapidly growing company that still holds onto its values. You'll get an office with the best location in both Östersund and Åre, great daily freedom, individual salary setting with both fixed and variable parts, good benefits, and above all, a culture where trust, care, and results go hand in hand. We also have annual conference trips in Sweden and abroad with management colleagues from around the country.
We believe work should be sustainable – for real. Therefore, we encourage training during work hours, healthcare that is actually used, and a balance that allows you to be long-term in both life and career. A natural part of our work tools are our ping pong rackets. "Of course, we have 5-star Cybershape rackets because we believe the work environment and quality of breaks are important for our employees" – Safety Representative Teodor Peterson. You definitely don't need to be a ping pong pro to beat Christian at ping pong, but it's highly merit-worthy if you have some ball skills and can deliver a proper smash or a tricky chop, so he realizes his DM merits might not be enough for a ping pong career.
