About this role

About the Company Vasaloppet is the world's largest cross-country ski race. The first race was held in 1922, and since then, over 1.7 million participants have skied, cycled, or run in the Fathers' Tracks and crossed the finish line in Mora. This makes Vasaloppet one of the largest race organizers. In addition to our 4,000 volunteers, approximately 35 full-time employees plan and execute the events. We aim to be the leading race organizer that facilitates, inspires, and focuses on the customer before, during, and after the event. We are owned by IFK Mora Sports Alliance and Sälen IF and, together with our volunteers and other non-profit forces, are a driving force for public health and community life. Vasaloppet is an attractive employer and an important actor for the local area. Our organization is characterized by culture and tradition, and we who work here are proud of our brand. As an employee, you have both significant responsibility and authority. Do you want to help develop one of Sweden's strongest brands? Vasaloppet is seeking an engaged Merchandise and CRM Business Developer who is passionate about sales, customer experience, and business development! Company Offering A meaningful role in a committed team, where you will help create experiences that make a difference. You will work in an eventful and varied environment, where you will help build both structure and culture while meeting people from across the country. Your Responsibilities The role combines two areas of responsibility: Merchandise Project Management (50%) and CRM Coordinator (50%). As a merchandise project manager, you will be responsible for driving and developing Vasaloppet's merchandise work, focusing on private and corporate customers. You will plan the assortment and be part of the creative work alongside Vasaloppet's marketing department. Through continuous follow-up and analysis work, you will contribute to constantly developing and strengthening Vasaloppet's merchandise business throughout the year. As a CRM coordinator, you will work with the sales manager to maintain, improve, and develop Vasaloppet's CRM work. You will analyze customer data, segment target groups, implement CRM activities, ensure their follow-up, and translate them into insights that strengthen customer relationships and drive the business forward. In both areas of responsibility, you will collaborate closely with colleagues in marketing, sales, and business development, as well as external suppliers. This is a project employment that runs for 1 year with good chances of a permanent position. Your Profile We are seeking someone who is structured, communicative, and business-driven, with the ability to take responsibility from idea to implementation. You thrive in a role where you can switch between operational and tactical work and are motivated by set goals and creating results in collaboration with others. To succeed in the role, you need experience working analytically with a good understanding of sales, pricing, and communication. Your ability to lead and drive projects is of great importance. You have a clear digital interest and use digital tools effortlessly in your daily work. In the role, you will work with Vasaloppet's participant management system, CRM system, and e-commerce platform.
