Then this role might be for you! ABOUT THE POSITION We are now seeking a Business Coordinator for Public Procurement to join our B2B team in Gothenburg. In this role, you will have a mix of administrative and customer-facing tasks – with a focus on public procurement, while also working closely with sales and customers. As a Business Coordinator at Specsavers, you will become a key person ensuring that procurement is handled professionally and proactively. You will be the link between Specsavers, public authorities, their partners, and stores. The role is broad and varied – one day you'll prepare procurement documentation, the next day support sales with contracts, update the intranet, or ensure stores receive the right information on time. You will also have a unique opportunity to provide input and influence the procurement workflow moving forward. This is a long-term position starting with a one-year consultant contract through Academic Work. There are good opportunities for extension. It is a full-time position on weekdays, primarily 8:30-17:00 with flexible work options. Occasional travel to Stockholm may be required. Over time, you will grow into a more dynamic role focused on public procurement and administrative responsibilities, potentially evolving into an Account Manager role specializing in public procurement. * Manage the entire public procurement process - requirement specification, documentation, follow-up, and dialogue with authorities * Ensure compliance with laws and regulations and drive proactive work to influence procurement direction * Monitor upcoming procurements and develop competitive documentation * Create and implement routines for procurement follow-up and documentation * Manage CRM systems to collect necessary information about contracts and procurements * Drive independent projects, such as updating training modules and improving internal processes * Ensure information flow to stores via intranet, including updates and internal manuals WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO - Have approximately 3-5 years of experience in public procurement - Are accustomed to working systematically and ensure processes function throughout - Understand sales and customer relationships - preferably with previous experience in a sales or service-oriented role - Are confident in taking responsibility, driving projects, and staying ahead - Have good system and data skills - you will work in Excel and SuperOffice - Have fluent knowledge of both Swedish and English, spoken and written To succeed in the role, you have the following personal qualities: - Adaptable - you thrive in a high-paced environment where changes can happen quickly - Helpful - you enjoy supporting both colleagues and customers - Creative - you find new paths forward - Responsible - you get things done and take on independent projects Great importance will be placed on your personal qualities.
