About the Role Do you want to make a real difference in helping Sweden succeed in the energy transition and achieve climate goals? We will be making significant investments in our network and are now looking for a business analyst in the innovation area, focusing on opportunities and challenges within the local electricity system. Vattenfall Eldistribution is a key and driving player in the energy transition. The Innovation & Business Development unit coordinates and is responsible for the company's innovation activities and innovation portfolio, which includes both internal and external innovation projects. We also work with business development and have a strong connection to international efforts, including in Brussels. The unit is responsible for innovation encompassing everything from changing customer and societal needs to new technologies, methods, and business models. We conduct analyses regarding upcoming technological developments, standardization, and policy/regulatory frameworks. We are a wonderful team of 14 people with diversity in gender, age, expertise, and geographical location. As a Business Analyst, you will participate in and lead development projects, both nationally and internationally, to support the company's innovation towards strategic goals. The role specifically focuses on system issues at all voltage levels with applications related to digitalization and AI. Analysis of the external environment and evaluation of implemented innovations are also part of the role. Requirements • Master's degree in engineering or equivalent academic education. • Experience in the energy sector, preferably specifically in electricity network issues. • Clear communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish and English. As a person, it is important that you are independent, able to collaborate easily with others, and comfortable taking initiative and driving progress in a changing environment. You are curious and have a desire to understand the opportunities and challenges within the business. The role involves many contact points and requires a good ability to build trust, communicate, and collaborate to achieve results. You also have an interest in developing both yourself and your colleagues.
