Adven Seeks Operations & Maintenance Technician in Älmhult

Adven is now seeking: Operations & Maintenance Technician You will work at our various facilities in Älmhult and will be involved in the entire process from fuel reception to heat delivery to customers. This will give you the opportunity to learn and be an important part of energy production and distribution. Currently, the team in Älmhult consists of four operations and maintenance technicians working under the leadership of an operations and maintenance manager, who together responsibly manage the operation and maintenance of the facilities. You will work both independently and together with your colleagues. Primary Responsibilities: · Operation, supervision, rounds, control, and monitoring of production facilities · Planned and corrective maintenance · Work according to laws, regulations, and policies affecting the facilities The position is a permanent full-time role with on-call duty included. Your Background We are seeking someone with relevant technical education focused on operations, maintenance, marine engineering, or equivalent work experience. Experience with combustion and knowledge of computerized control and monitoring systems is meritorious. Experience in control systems, instrumentation, or similar is also highly advantageous. The work requires you to be able to receive and manage freedom with personal responsibility. You have your own drive and can see what needs to be done in daily operations, taking initiative to develop it. Good collaboration skills are a matter of course for us. We place great importance on your personal qualities. A B driving license is required. Since on-call duty is included in the position, we want you to live (or be willing to move) near Älmhult.
