The Property Office, which is part of the Community Development Department within the Municipal Executive Administration, is responsible for managing and developing Vimmerby municipality's property portfolio. This portfolio encompasses a varied mix of buildings such as office spaces, schools, sports facilities, fire stations, and other public properties. The office consists of three employees, including the property manager. The Property Office in Vimmerby municipality is now seeking an engaged and service-oriented employee who wants to contribute to the municipality's development! WORK TASKS As an administrator/economist with us, you will work in a broad and varied role where you will, among other things: • Handle ongoing financial work, accounting, reconciliations, and participate in year-end closing. • Work with budgeting, follow-up, forecasts, and develop financial processes and routines. • Manage invoicing, debt collection, vendor invoice coding, and basic financial administration. • Provide administrative support for managers and employees, e.g., through document management, record-keeping, bookings, minutes, and information materials. • Be responsible for tenant contact and basic customer service matters. • Support personnel administration, introduction of new employees, and use of IT systems. • Participate in projects and drive improvement work within both finance and administration. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • Post-secondary education in economics, administration, or several years of experience in similar work that we deem equivalent. • Solid experience in qualified financial work, preferably in the public sector. • Good system proficiency and ease in learning new IT systems, especially financial systems, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365. • Experience with administrative work, document management, and record-keeping. • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and prioritize tasks. • Good collaboration skills, service orientation, and a solution-focused approach. • Excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. You have an interest in both numbers and processes, and enjoy working both independently and in collaboration with others. You are not afraid to tackle operational tasks when needed, while also having the ability to see the big picture. The role requires you to organize and prioritize your work efficiently, especially during intense periods like year-end closing and budget work. As a person, you are proactive and responsible, with the ability to drive work forward. You easily create good relationships, collaborate with others, and build trust. At the same time, you are analytical and meticulous, with an eye for details without losing the overall perspective. We see that you have a flexible working style and are accustomed to handling multiple tasks simultaneously, while also being able to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
