The position is based in the Administration and Finance Unit within the Department for Disability, Social Psychiatry, and Elderly Care.

The Administration and Finance Unit is a newly established unit within the authority side of the Department for Disability, Social Psychiatry, and Elderly Care, starting on April 1, 2025.
The main mission of the unit is to provide support in administrative and financial processes to the purchasing units within the department. The work includes administrative support and service, invoice processing, fee management, financial follow-ups, operational follow-ups, contract follow-ups, and handling transport service, national transport services, municipal housing supplements for individuals with disabilities, and sick pay benefits for personal assistance.
The unit is led by a unit manager and consists of administrative assistants, case officers, finance officers, and business controllers.

Your role
As an administrative assistant, you will provide administrative support and service to the Purchasing Unit for disability and social psychiatry. You will contribute to the smooth operation of the organization by managing ongoing administrative tasks and providing support to managers and case officers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling mail.
- Coding and processing invoices.
- Preparing invoice documentation.
- Administering personal transportation and transport services.
- Managing contracts.
- Providing administrative support for new hires.
- Making purchases and managing technology.
- Monitoring and responding to the administration's functional mailbox.
- Acting as the data protection coordinator.
Other related tasks may also be included.
You will become part of a group with other administrative assistants, where you will collaborate and support each other as needed to ensure efficient and high-quality administrative support.
Your skills and experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- A high school diploma.
- Good computer skills.
- Proficient knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
It is advantageous if you have:
- Experience working with similar tasks.
- Post-secondary education that the employer considers relevant for the position.
To succeed in the role, it is important that you:
- Take responsibility for your work and can independently drive tasks forward.
- Are structured and capable of planning and organizing your work effectively, as well as prioritizing and adhering to set deadlines.

We are facing exciting challenges as the Enskede Årsta Vantör district grows and entirely new neighborhoods are built. Approximately 18,000 new apartments are planned by the year 2030.
