Ref: 20252628 Job Responsibilities The responsibilities include booking accommodation placements based on placement documentation prepared by social workers and matching applicants' needs with appropriate housing through coordination with housing providers and external suppliers, as well as the establishment of placement agreements/booking confirmations. A significant portion of the work is performed in Excel, property management systems, and the operational system Lifecare. The role involves close collaboration and communication with social workers, housing services, and other partners. Another aspect of the assignment is to conduct regular quality checks in the housing services utilized through on-site visits. The section primarily works with matching apartments with contracts and matching and booking temporary accommodations internally and externally, both with and without support, for homeless residents of Malmö. A development initiative has begun where all employees in the section will work on both booking and matching temporary accommodations and matching apartments with contracts. Based on the management's goal of providing safe housing solutions for Malmö residents, we are transitioning from temporary accommodations to apartments with contracts. Qualifications You should have completed secondary education and possess substantial professional experience in one of the following areas: - administration, customer service, housing booking, and quality monitoring of accommodation placements Furthermore, you must have excellent computer skills and experience working with various software programs/systems. Communication will consist of phone calls and emails, so it is essential that you have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Meritorious: • Experience in housing booking • Experience in procurement from framework agreements regarding accommodation placements • Experience in direct procurement regarding accommodation placements • Work in the homelessness sector and/or social work • Experience in regulatory activities or collaboration with regulatory agencies • Experience with ProCapita/Lifecare • Experience working in property management systems • Work with quality monitoring of accommodation placements We are looking for a team player who collaborates easily both in small groups and with social services and other partners. About the Workplace The Housing Administration, consisting of a total of 16 employees, is one of five sections within the Apartment Unit, which has various assignments related to the administration, management, and supervision of apartments and housing within the Department of Housing, Supervision, and Services. The section primarily works with matching apartments with contracts and matching and booking temporary accommodations internally and externally, both with and without support, for homeless residents of Malmö. The section includes a section manager, two development coordinators focused on temporary accommodations and contracts, and 14 administrators.
