At the Swedish Medical Products Agency, we make a difference together. In life and for life. We work for the health of people and animals, for a better Sweden today and in the future. Are you an experienced, self-driven, and proactive administrator with strong collaboration skills, accustomed to working with multiple managers and projects? In the Unit for Knowledge Support and Drug Use, we offer a varied role with significant responsibility, where you will interact with several departments and work proactively.
Our Operations
The area of Drug Use is responsible for producing independent drug information and conducting safety monitoring and follow-up with the user in focus.
The Unit for Knowledge Support and Drug Use develops evidence-based knowledge support (Treatment Recommendations and the Drug Book) for Swedish healthcare to ensure safe and rational drug use. In our work, we collaborate with internal and external experts, as well as with many other units within the Swedish Medical Products Agency. The unit has around twenty employees with a wide range of skills and experiences.
Your Responsibilities
The unit's administrators work partly across the unit in their respective areas of responsibility. Your main tasks will be within the group that works with the Drug Book.
You will handle qualified administrative tasks as part of the unit's investigative work and the development of knowledge support, including:
• Administration related to the coordination and management of the Drug Book
• Proofreading chapters in the Drug Book
• Administrative tasks related to internal and external meetings
• Administrative support to the unit's managers, project leaders, and investigators
The work often involves close collaboration with other administrators in the unit.
Your Background
We are looking for someone who has completed upper secondary education and has several years of experience in similar administrative tasks, preferably within pharmaceutical or medically oriented operations. You have excellent knowledge and skills in MS Office and are comfortable navigating and working with various IT tools/systems, such as document management systems. You have a very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.
Experience or education in project administration/coordinating is an advantage. Experience using AI in work processes is also a merit.
Your Personal Qualities
The administrative tasks involve managing many parallel workflows, which requires a structured and well-organized approach and good prioritization skills. To thrive in this role, you need to have a sense of both the big picture and the details, as well as the ability to handle variations in both tasks and workload. It is important that you have good collaboration skills, are flexible, can take initiative, and are eager to learn new things, as well as having a strong ability to complete tasks within deadlines. You possess good communication skills, are service-oriented, and enjoy having many points of contact in your work. The role of administrator demands a high capacity to work independently as well as in a team. You have a strong ability to create and maintain good relationships and networks. You share knowledge, listen, and foster team spirit.
We place great importance on personal qualities.
