Do you want to be part of an important mission where you have the opportunity to develop? Now there is an opportunity to apply to the Ground Combat School, which is seeking an administrator for its development unit.
The Ground Combat School's Development Unit is responsible for developing units with their organization, material, methods, publications, and personnel. This spans a variety of areas. Some examples of development areas include developing a soldier's personal equipment, multiple armored vehicle systems of the Armed Forces, communication equipment for different parts of the Armed Forces, leadership methods, development of regulations and handbooks, and development of several army weapon systems. The work includes extensive support to the Defense Material Administration and participation in study and trial activities.
The unit consists of a unit management and six departments working within different development areas. The unit is geographically located in both Skövde and Kvarn.
Primary Work Tasks
The administrative work is varied and sometimes at a high pace. As an administrator, you will be a management support and administrative support for the unit's leadership and department heads. This includes managing ongoing documentation and follow-up. Additionally, handling parts of the Armed Forces' digital support systems, making bookings and orders.
Examples of Work Tasks
• Leads the unit's administrative methods and development, such as performing bookings and orders in the Armed Forces support system.
• Supports the unit's administrative activities through activity follow-up, security assessments, unit protocols.
• Supports documentation and follow-up within projects, trials, and experiments within the unit's area of responsibility, as well as project administration.
• Coordinates the unit's activities with the Defense Material Administration regarding economics, offers, and contracts.
• Leads the unit's Emilia activities regarding follow-up and development.
• Supports coordination between different actors within the unit's responsibility or network, MSS Staff/EkA/AST and Defense Material Administration.
• Part of unit management and supports unit leadership meetings.
Qualifications
• High school education with approved grades.
• At least two years of government administration (documented)
• Good computer skills with system understanding and ability to handle Office package.
• Driving License B (manual)
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meritorious
• Experience working in Armed Forces support systems PRIO; VIDAR, Emilia.
• Knowledge of Armed Forces organization and activities.
• Training in Project Administration.
• Ability to express oneself in English.
• Completed military service with approved grades or approved GMU or employment GSS/K.

• Employment type: Permanent employment with six-month probationary period.
• Work location: Skövde, but travel with overnight stays may occur.

• Working hours: Daytime, but work in evenings and weekends may occur.
