We are currently seeking a quality-conscious and service-oriented administrator (temporary position) who wants to work with doctoral education at the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Learning. About the job We offer an opportunity to work closely with the academic core activities, focusing on administration and service. You will primarily work with doctoral education administration, but other administrative tasks may also be included in the position. As an administrator within doctoral education, you will provide qualified support to doctoral students, supervisors, directors of doctoral studies, faculty, and other involved parties. You will be a central contact person in the ongoing operations and contribute to ensuring that the doctoral education functions smoothly and professionally. The demands for service are high, and a good pedagogical ability is expected in your interactions. The administrative work is carried out according to applicable routines and regulations, and we are constantly working to develop processes and routines for effective study administration with high quality. The tasks are varied and include, for example, assisting with admissions to doctoral education and ongoing course administration such as reporting results, credit transfers, and course evaluations in various administrative systems. Furthermore, you will be an important support during defenses, licentiate presentations, and grading seminars, where you will assist with bookings for meals, venues, and travel. The environment is dynamic, and when urgent situations arise, it is natural for you to be there to support and contribute with what you can. About you We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a structured manner, is quality-conscious, and has the ability to independently plan, organize, and prioritize your tasks. You like to collaborate with others and can adapt to changing circumstances. To succeed in this role, we see that you also have a good sense of service, a humble approach, and the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously. You easily absorb new information and thrive in a job with varied tasks. We would like you to have: • At least a three-year upper secondary education in a relevant field, or equivalent education • Experience in qualified administrative work in complex organizations • Good computer skills and system understanding, including proficiency in standard programs of the Office suite • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written It is an advantage if you have previous experience in: • Administrative work within the higher education sector • Administrative systems such as Ladok and Raindance • Booking business travel via booking portals Since the work is outward-facing and involves significant contact and service to various parts of the organization, we place great importance on personal qualities and suitability. Your workplace You will work at the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Learning (IBL), which has operations in both Norrköping and Linköping. You will belong to the Department of Operational Support, where your workplace is both operationally and locationally based in Linköping. You will work closely with the department's teachers and researchers and be part of a team with colleagues who have similar responsibilities in other parts of the department.
